Option D is the right option

Molecules of a gas are continually moving independently of each other with random speeds and in random directions. (The net velocity of gas in a stationary container must be zero. Since molecules of gas are moving, they must be doing so with a random distribution of speeds and in random directions to produce a net gas velocity of zero.)

im pretty sure the answer is D

Greetings, The Myschool Team.
The correct answer is D(molecules move at constant speed between collisions) and not C (force of attraction between molecules is negligible). Options A, B and C are valid, leaving D as the wrong option. Time would not suffice to give a full explanation. Please the necessary corrections should be made. Thank you.

The incorrect assumption about an ideal gas, among those listed, is option D (molecules move at constant speed between collisions).
