pls i dont understand d derivation of d formular, HELP!

U = Horizontal velocity =15 m/s. (given)
T = Time taken to fall
R = U × T
Also, H = 1/2 g t (square)
1.5 = 1/2 (10×t square)
3 = 10 × t (square)
t = √(3/10) = √0.3

R = U × T
Range = 15 × √0.3
R = 8.215
R = 8.22m. (C is correct)

Using: Range = U × T
