Please the answer is wrong. Energy from nuclear fusion is much more than that of nuclear fission. The reason nuclear fusion isn't used is that it requires very high temperature A.

The selected answer is wrong:
Scientists like the idea of the nuclear fusion concept because it yield them an enormous energy; however, one major set back is that it requires an enormous temperature close to 2 million Celsius like that of sun's core temperature, which cannot be provided on this planet.
i think myschool should take note pf this explanation and make the corrections quickly.

the correct answer is option A, because nuclear fusion requires at least 150,000,000⁰C to occur, compared to the required minimum of 600⁰C of fission.

On the basis of Nuclear fusion, it produces higher energy than that of the Nuclear fission which is not easy to control. This is why nuclear fission is used for the generation of energy because it can easily be controlled. So the answer should be D.
