since the objects STICK TOGETHER, this is a PERFECTLY INELASTIC COLLISION,so we use CONSERVATION OF MOMENTUM.
THAT IS:
m1-m2=(m1+m2)v

so the picked answer is correct, which is 0.67m/s

2*3 +1*4=10 and 10/4=3.33
