The mass on a loaded spiral spring oscillates vertically between two extreme positions P and R equidistant from the equilibrium position Q. Which of the following statements about the system is not correct
the momentum of the mass is maximum at Q
the elastic potential energy of the spring is maximum at Q
the kinetic energy of the mass is maximum at P

B should be d correct ans,d total energy is always constant and dat is true, but d maximum potential energy can never be in d mid point!

Wrong answer.
The answer is even B and C, Elastic potential energy is max at P and Q because that's where the extension is max, and extension is 0 at Q.
Also kinetic energy is maximum at equilibrium position because that's where the velocity is maximum, velocity is 0 at P and Q.

the answer cant be c because the point P is an extreme end, and the pendulum will stop for a while when it reaches an extreme end or the maximum distance from the equilibrum position before it goes back again
