A piece of brass of mass 170kg has its temperature raised from 0ºC to 30ºC. Calculate its increase in volume, given the density of brass at 0 °C as 8.5 x 103kgm\(^3\) and its cubic expansivity as 5.7 x 10\(^{-5}\)k\(^{-1}\)

a

3.4 x 10-4m3

b

4.3 x 10-5m3

c

3.4 x 10-5m3

d

3.4 x 10-3m3

e

There were two alike options A and C and the parameters were wrong e.g 5 times 10*-1 instead of 5 times 10* -5

Hi team, in this question the value for the cubic expansivity is the same as the one provided in the explanation. In the question, it is 5.7 x 10^-1, but in the explanation it is 5.7 x 10^-5. I believe the one in the explanation is right, and the one in the question should be changed to 5.7 x 10^-5. Thanks in advance team.

The answer is not in the option! The wrong answers being picked is really frustrating! please try and be more accurate.
