the iris is compared to the aperture ( shutter)
pupil is diaphargm while retinal is film.

the correct answer has to be D, because the shutter is equivalent to the eyelid, the film to the retina , lens to the human eye, while diaphragm to the iris.
Also because the iris is an aperture; it controls how much light enters the eyes. Same function with the diaphragm.
