Following the equation below>F=MV^2/R.where f is centripental force,m is mass of body,v is linear velocity.V=wr.now let substitute v for wr in the initial equation>F=mw^2r^2/r now this then gives f=mw^2r.wow!Now lets input our values.f=1/100*10000*0.2=20N. Pls i can't shout.

Since v=wr
100×0.2=20

F=(mv^2)/r,wia f=centripetal force,m=mass,v=linear velocity and r=radius...the values of al d quantities wia given except v,i proceed 2 find v wit d formulae v=wr sinc i was given w=angular velocity,..subtituting, v=100*0.2=20N . . . F=(mv^2)/r,subtituting, F=(0.01*20*20)/0.2 . . . F=4/0.2 . . . F=20N

D ans is 'c' bcos m=10^-2 w=100rad^-1 r=0.1m using f=mv^2/r

Recall dat v=wr . V=100*0.2 den v=20N put 'v' into f=mv^2/r f=0.1*400/0.2

F=200N

NB dat 10^-2 =0.1 nd nt 0.01

Formula=F=MV²/r
M=10^-²
that's M =0.01
V=?
w=100
r=0.2
Recall that V =Wr
substituting it in d formula
F=0.01×100²×0.2²/0.2
F= 20N

Guys u make lets its D cos: F=M×V×V×r÷r. But W=vr; F=M×W^2×r^2÷r.Remember that the mass is given in 10^-2, whicuh is = 0.01. therefore, F=0.01×10000×0.04÷0.2, F=4÷0.02, F=20N. Hope uys uderstand it better now.

Since the formula for centripetal force= m(v x v) / r

and V=rw

-: F=m x r x w x w

From the question m= 0.01kg , r= 0.2m , and w= 100 (rad^-1)

F= 0.01 x 0.2 x 100 x 100

F= 20N

From the parameters
M= 0.01kg
w= 100rad
r= 0.2

Cf= mv²/r
v= rw=0.2×100=20
:. 0.01×20²/0.2 = 2/0.2 = 20N

For better understanding please,cuz from the way you solved it,was too direct without proper break down on how that velocity was gotten,.
Thank you.

Centripetal force(F) =M(v)^2 ÷r
where M is the mass
V is the linear velocity
r is the radius

V=rw

where r is the radius and w is the angular velocity

Substitute the values amd get your answer

V=100×0.2=20

V^2=20^2=400

M=10^-2=0.01

r=0.2

Centripetal force (F) = 0.01×400÷0.2=20

Answer is therefore 20N

Pls brothers and sisters, d answer is 20N. Centripetal force F=mv^2/r where m= mass, v=linear velocity & r=radius. From d question, we have angular vel, radius and mass but we don't have linear vel. Note dat linear vel v is related to angular vel w with d equatn v=rw where v=0.2x100= 20m/s. Now to d centripetal force F=mv^2/r= 0.01x(20)^2/0.2= 20N. God bless u all and make u succeed in ur endeavours. Amen!!!

F=mv^2/r

where v=wr

f=m(wr)^2

f=mw^2r^2/r

f=mw^2r

f=0.1x(100x100)x1.5

f=200N

this question is somehow tricky cuz some people might take the (100rad-1) as their velocity so the right solution is
m=1^-2 or (0.01)kg
r=0.2m
v=?
w=100rad-1.......*
so Fc=mv^2/r......which is also Fc=m(wr)^2/r
......=0.01*(100*0.2)^2/0.2
......=0.01*(20)^2/0.2
......=0.01*400/0.2
......=4/0.2
......=20
......; Fc=20N
thanks for understanding, God bless u.
