D z correct.+ve charge means deficit electrons.Take Na+ for eg it has only 1 valence electrons and therefore gives it out to form a +ve charge. Cl has excess valence electrons and cannot give them all out; therefore it accepts an electron to form a -ve charge. And metals for eg transfer electric current by movement of electrons so D is correct.

The correct answer is **D. all of the above**. Here's why:

A. A **positive charge** does indeed mean a **deficit of electrons**. Atoms are neutral because they have an equal number of protons (positively charged) and electrons (negatively charged). If an atom loses electrons, it has more protons than electrons, thus it becomes positively charged.

B. A **negative charge** means an **excess of electrons**. If an atom gains electrons, it has more electrons than protons, thus it becomes negatively charged.

C. **Electric current** is the flow of electric charge, which is typically carried by moving electrons in a conductor such as wire. Therefore, electric current does mean the **movement of electrons**.

So, all of the statements A, B, and C are true. Hence, the answer is D. all of the above..

wait o let's take a look at it well.for example if we have an element like this Na+ this means that it has losed electron but it is carrying a positive charge but if we have Cl- this means that chlorine has gained electron but is carrying a negative charge so i think D is correct but who knows i might be wrong am just giving my opinion
