In copper plating, a current of 0.5A is allowed for cathode area of 100cm2. If this current is maintained constant for 100 minutes, the thickness of the copper deposited will be approximately (the electrochemical equivalent of copper = 0.0003g/oC, density of copper = 10^4g/cm3 )
10-2mm
10-3mm
10-4mm
10-5mm
10-6mm

the correct answer should be D, changing from cm-mm is x100 which would turn 10^-7 to 10^-5

In the explanation the density is different and electrochemical equivalent used is different. If used correctly the answer is 90

Using Standard form to solve inall this JAMB calculators is very stressful and confusing.

Also, there is a disparity between the electrochemical equivalent you used and the one provided by the question..

To ensure that the purpose of the efforts of the MySchool team is met, kindly effect the necessary corrections as soon as you can.

I believe the density provided by the question is 10 power -4 but you used 10 power 4 instead. Going by that, the correct answer is Option B unless of course, the question was wrongly typed.
Meanwhile, thanks for your explanation above. It helped me in solving this question.
Regards.

If the answer is really E then the density in the question is supposed to be 10^4 NOT 10^-4.
And the full answer is 9 x 10^4 mm
