An object floats when the weight of the object equals the upthrust.... This is why the object displace a percentage of volume of the fluid.. You explained it ur self if the weight of the object is more the upthrust the object will sink.. So for an object to float the upthrust must be equal or greater than the weight.. In other words the weight is less than the the upthrust as explained the correct option is B pls to avoid mis understanding to the readers... Thanks..
