The correct answer is Centrifugal (A). It is an outward force which counterbalances the Centripetal force provided by the gravitational pull of the earth. The force against gravitational pull of the earth is should be an outward force since the gravitational pull of the earth will always act inwards. Again, as a matter of fact, the gravitational pull provides the needed centripetal force required to keep any object in their orbits around the earth.

Centripetal and centrifugal forces are both related to circular motion, but they act in opposite directions. The centripetal force is the force that pulls an object towards the center of a circular path, whereas the centrifugal force is the force that pulls the object away from the center of the circular path.

An example of centripetal force is the gravitational force that keeps planets in orbit around the sun. As the planets move around the sun in a circular path, they are constantly being pulled towards the center of the circular path by the force of gravity. Similarly, the tension in a string that is holding a ball while it is being swung in a circle is providing the centripetal force required to keep the ball in a circular motion.

An example of centrifugal force is the force that causes a car to sway outwards when it takes a sharp turn. When the car turns, the passengers inside the car tend to keep moving in a straight line, and they are pulled outwards towards the edge of the car's circular path due to centrifugal force.

In summary, centripetal forces work towards the center of the circular path, and centrifugal forces work away from the center of the circular path.

ya..Centripetal force is legit ✅

the force that keeps planetry bodies in their obits should be centripetal and not tranctional as its stated above.
