u=60,v=?, f=20 , hu=3,hv=?
1/f=1/u+1/v
1/20=1/60+1/v (take 1/60 to the other side)
1/20 -1/60=1/v
The lcm=60. So...
1/v=3-1/60 =2/60
1/v=1/30 (cross multiply)
v=30
We can now use this formula
u/v=hu/hv
60/30=3/hv
2/1=3/hv
Cross multiply
2hv=3
hv=3/2
hv=1.5
