The accurate answer is option A. Not that pressure does not affect speed of sound in air, it does. But, in the context of theoretical study, it has no effect on it when it comes to ideal gases. All the gases dealt with is basically focused on ideal gas. Therefore, in an ideal gas approximation, air pressure has no effect on the speed of sound in air.
