From the question,,,, note that diverging lens is concave lens which focal lenght is positive,, and converging lens is convex inwhich focal lenght is negative.... And in the question its state "diverging" Which means is concave and its focal lenght is positive.... Therefore in my view the workings is wrong... Option c is correct with respect to my understanding
