u should already know that they meant 3 minutes and not 30. That was how they artived at the answer 40kj.

The question is wrongly composed:

Shouldn't 30mins be equal to (30X60)secs which in turn is equivalent to 1800secs plus the 20secs which eventually gives 1820secs. I have a feeling the answer isn't in the options given.
