A is correct because density is inversely proportional to temperature. As temperature increases density reduces and vice versa

The density of water increases with temperature between 0 and 4 degree Celsius. This is called as anomalous expansion of water. This is caused by the hydrogen bonding between the oxygen atoms that are negatively charged and the hydrogen atoms that are positively charged, from two different molecules of water.
