pressure plunger =force/area(22/7*radius squre)
500/3.142x0.2x0.2
=500/0.12568
pressure of piston= force/area
force/3.142x0.8x0.8
force/2.01088
Now, p. piston= p.plunger
force /2.01088 = 500/0.12568
CROSS MULTIPLY
force of piston =8000N

MySchool the answer is 8000N for goodness sake!!!
U guyz didnt even follow the question in your working.

The ans. is 8000N. A small amount of force is used to generate a large amount of force so as to compress the obj.

Hydraulic press=
F1/A1=F2/A2
500/0.2²π=F2/0.8²π
F2=500×0.64π/0.04π
F2=8000N
F2=500×0.64/0.04
F2=8000N
