To reduce a resistance we connect another resistor in parrallel. 1/120=1/200+1/R
1/120-1/200=1/R
5-3/600=1/R
1/R=2/600
R=600/2
R=300.
Therefore we connect another resistance of 300Ω in parallel

1/120 = 1/200 + 1/R
Collect like terms

1/120 - 1/200 = 1/R
Lowest common factor of [1/120 - 1/1200]

4/1200 = 1/R
Cross multiply

R= 1200/4
R= 300
