If a light wave has a wavelength of 500nm in air what is the frequency of the wave?
[c = 3 x 10\(^8\) ms-1]
3.0 x 1014 Hz
6.0 x 1014 Hz
6.0 x 1012 Hz
2.5 x 1014 Hz

IT JUST LIKE YOU ARE APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE OF MATH. NONAGON IN MATH IS 10 RAISE TO POWER 9,SO ALSO IN PHYSIC ANYTHING "NONA" IS THE SAME AS I HAVE MENTIONED.

they are submultiples, you can also call them prefix in physics where nm is nanometer
and a nano is 10 ^ -9.
10 ^ -1 is deci
10 ^ -2 is centi
10 ^ -3 is milli
10 ^ -6 is micro
10 ^ -9 is nano
10 ^ - 12 is Pico
10 ^ - 15 is femto and so on

Also didn't see the solution 🤧 so I used the formula they gave.Atleast Myschool don try.
F=?
c= 3×10⁸(Changing to standard form=300000000)
wavelength= 500nm(this nm is simply 5x10-⁹)____(changing to standard form=0.0000005)
I changed them to standard form for ease while solving.
F= 300000000/0.0000005
=6×10¹⁴.
sorry if it's a little clustered.
Hope you understand

In my jamb past question and answer booklet the answer of the question is option (c) ,and am confused pls i need a better explanation
