pls how can someone differentiate it from beign either west or east or South or even north because i solved it and i got the appropriate values buh i couldnt find if it was west or east

pls help me draw the triangle out I don't get tan aspect how is 60 the opp and 100 the adj

Please I have gotten the answer but I can't differentiate if it is west or east please I want to know the difference

how can you solve this question?
the calculator use in the examination does not have a tan function.

There's no squareroot button in the on screen calculator for jamb. How are we supposed to find the square root of that large number?

R^2 = 100^2 + 60^2
R^2 = 10000 + 3600
R^2 = 13,600
R = 116.6 ≈ 117km/h
Tan x = Efy/Efx
= 100/60
tan^-1 (100/60)
= 59°
117km/h, N59°E
