Efficiency= Distance moved by the load/distance moved by the effort × 100/1

E= DL/DE×100/1
E= 40
DL= 20×10= 200
DE=?

40= 200/DE×100
40DE= 20000
divide both sides by 40
DE= 20000/40
DE= 500
