according to the question y=5sin(2000πt - 0.4x)
comparing to teh general equation
y=Asin(2πft - 2πx/λ)
so therefore our λ= -2πx/λ = 0.4x
then u cross multiply
= -0.4xλ=-2πx
then divide both sides by 0.4x
=-0.4xλ/-0.4x = -2πx/-0.4
= λ= 5π
since π=22/7
λ= 5*22/7
λ= 15.7129m
λ= 15.7m.
I hope this helps😊🙏

the x in the equation that we are comparing is given as x = 2pie / wavelenght normal the equation is given as this
y = A sin (wt - k2pie/wavelength) but anyway still the same if you can understand this better okay
