Deriving a formular relating coefficient of friction and centripetal force is given as
F=uR
F=mv²/r
uR=mv²/r
making the coefficient of friction "u" the subject of formular
u=mv²/Rr
u=?
m=100kg
v=5ms-¹
r=10m
R=mg
u=Mv²/Mg*r
u=v²/gr
u=5*5/10*10
u=25/100
=0.25

Myschool is 100 percent correct
Explanation: tan theta=v square over rg and since tan theta is equal to coefficient of friction then substitute tan theta with coefficient of friction,hence the answer is 0.25

the first formula used F=mv²/r is for the frictional force(known as centripetal force)
the second formula used R=mg is the normal reaction force (weight)and it is based on gravity derived from F=ma(R=mg)
and the coefficient of friction is calculated by dividing the frictional force(F) by normal reaction force (R)given:ü=F/R
I hope this helps

Oga sir, this is not how you teach your students. Some of us here are beginners, we came here to learn. See the way you're just rushing like as if something is pursuing u, how do we understand what you're saying? Not only u, I think there's one other girl teaching English that also does the same thing. Are you guys trying to mock us or what? If I have known that this is how you people teach here, honestly, I wouldn't have wasted my money coming here. Like, WTF

The answer is correct, but the formula given is wrong. That's the source of this confusion for some people. if possible watch the video attached to the answer.

Please admin and friends, if r is 10, how possible is it that F equals 250N? I simply mean the calculation is faulty.The right answer should have been A, 250N.

Here is an explanation:
f=mv^2/r =(100*5)^2/10=25000
r=mg =100*10 =1000
frictional force=f/r =25000/1000
=25N
