Correct Answer: Option B

Explanation

Current (I) in the circuit = ^V/_Z
But z =
√ R² + (X_L - X_C)²

=
√ 8² + (16 – 10) ²

=
√ 64 + 36

=
√ 100 = 10Ω

∴ Current (I) = ^V/_Z = ¹²/₁₀ = 1.2 A
