🤔😮My school, your answer is totally wrong, that is not the formula for fuse rating Sir/ ma, u only calculated the current flowing in the circuit and not the one rated in the fuse and perhaps a fuse is rated 125% of the operating current, 🙂the formular for fuse rating is, I=(P/V)*125%, I=(P/V)1.25,
puting the parameters given, I = (1000/250)1.25
(4)1.25=5A. which is D
: . the fuse rating in the plug of an electric device = 5A. 🙏pls my school correct ur mistakes and change it to D, to avoid people copying the wrong formula. I rest my case.

My school is really misleading us
the formula for fuse rating after getting out CURRENT is 125/100 x CURRENT

e.g P = IV
1000= I250

I =4 Ampere

FUSE RATING= 125/100 × 4

= 5 Ampere

please correct your mistake
