In the circuit above, The potential across each capacitor is 100V. The total energy stored in the two capacitors is

3.0 x 104J
3.0 x 102J
2.5 x 10-2J
6.0 x 10-3J

@praise you need to work on your discipline
that's a harsh word
if you think you can do better create your own app
thank you

please my school this question is totally wrong even though I understood where they are heading to
instead of them to ask for charges across each capacitor, they asked for potential difference. but when it it comes to capacitors in a circuit it is likely that when they are connected in parallel the potential difference Pd across each capacitor in a circuit are all the same that means for us to find the effective capacitance, u have to sum all the charges in the circuit. but if they exist in series connection the charges now flowing in each of the capacitance I will be equal ie the rate of charge flowing in capacitor 1 is the same as the charges flowing in capacitor 2 with difference in pd. so. ooo from this circuit now, it is a pararrel connection then why requesting for potential difference.. to end it the answer is correct but the question is wrong.
