Wuthering Heights is a novel by Emily Bronte, written in the year 1847. It concerns two families of the landed gentry living on the West Yorkshire moors, the Earnshaws and the Lintons, and their turbulent relationships with Earnshaw's foster son, Heathcliff. It focuses on love and revenge that revolves around the inhabitants of a desolate farmhouse called Wuthering Heights.
