Kongi's Harvest is a 1965 play written by Wole Soyinka. The play satirizes the fledgling nation by stripping it of romantic legend and by showing that the present is no more a golden age than was the past. It projects themes such as intrigues, corruption, statesmanship, putting self above the state, ego, and other devious human weakness.
