If y = (2x + 1)\(^3\) find \(\frac{\text{d}}{\text{dx}}\)
y = (2x + 1)\(^3\) \(\frac{dy}{dx}\) = 3(2x + 1)\(^{3-1}\) x 2 = 3(2x + 1)\(^2\)x 2 = 6(2x + 1)\(^2\)
