Actually the answer is 8 if solved without putting the area into consideration, otherwise the answer is six when the area given in the question is used.

It's 8 on a norms but why the answer has change is because of the area given

The fundamental problem with this solution is the assumption that 8 and q are either the height or base.
It does not take into account the type of triangle... Making the solution as vague as the question itself
