Maybe I don't understand locus properly but how did the distance from the center of the circle to a chord become the radius??

I don't want to agree with this, because the line x is not a radius to the circle, it doesn't touch any point on the circumference, the correct answer should be B, which is the perpendicular bisector of the chords
