18+X/6=7/2.

Cross multiply.

2(18+x)=6(7).

36+2x=42.

2x=42-36.

2x=6.

X=3...

Check when x=3

1+4+5+6+3+2/6=3.5 or 7/2.



Myschool your answer is wrong because when x=2...average score will be = 3.33...
