bi. Let the total amount shared = y

Kontor's age = 3/2×Gapson′sage
. Since Gapson is 20yrs old then Kontor's age = 3/2×20
= 30years.

sharing ratio = 30 : 20 = 3 : 2

total ratio = 2 + 3 = 5

Since Kontor received Le200,000

3/5×y
= 200,000

3y/5=200,000

cross multiplying, we have

3y = 5 x 200,000 = 1000,000

y = 1000,000/3
= 333,333.33

ஃ Total amount shared = Le333,333.33

ii. Gapson's share = Total - kontor's share

= - 200,000 = Le300,000.

=333,333.33 - 200,000 = Le133,333.33.
