volume of a regular cylinder = area of circular base >< height
volume = pie R^2 times H
but in this case it is not a regular cylinder because its circular base has been cut to a major sector, hence to find the volume we need to find the area of the major sector then we multiply it by height (h).

area of a major sector = theta/360 times pieR^2
our theta= 360-90 =270
therefore, the area of the major sector = 270/370 >< (22/7)(14^2) = 462

therefore, volume of our cylind will be = area of our major sector >< height(h)
= 463 >< 32 = 14,784cm^3

I hope this helps 🙂
