2nd term=a+d(common difference)
3rd term=a+2d
4th term=a+3d

Firstly, let's find the common difference (d) which is unknown.

since the 4th term is given, we're going to use it to equate and find the common difference.

26=8+3d
18=3d
6=d

Then, to find p and q (2nd and 3rd term respectively)

2nd=a+d
