4x = 7 (mod 9)
multiply both sides by multiplicative inverse of 4 in mod 9 (i.e 7)
(4 × 7)x = 7 × 7 (mod 9)
(1)x = 49 (mod 9)
x = 49 (mod 9)
49 = 5 × 9 + 4
49 = 4 (mod 9)
x = 4
