I dont know what the subject should be, because both the solution, questions and options are out of sync. From the question we have points (0,0) and (1.5,5.5) as the two points but after calculation the answer gotten is 3.67 which is completely out of phase with both myschool's solution and the options of the questions.
Please revise.

Wrong question. According to your working, the table should have x-0, 1^1/4 and y-3, 5^1/2, where ^represents whole number

y is supposed to be 3 according to the solution but it isn't indicated in the question
