rate = distance/time
From the quetion,
rate = 25m/s
time = 10½hrs = 10.5hrs
distance = ?km

Because the answer and time given are in kilometres and hour respectively, we convert the rate from m/s to km/hr by multiplying it with "3,600/1,000".

i.e rate= (25/1) × (3,600/1,000)
=90km/hr

Recall,
rate = distance/time
.•. distance = rate × time
= 90 × 10.5
=945km
