The length, breadth and height of a cuboid are 8cm, 7\(\frac{1}{2}\)cm and 6\(\frac{1}{2}\) cm respectively. What Is its volume in m3 (leave your answer in standard form)?
Given: L = 8cm, B = 7\(\frac{1}{2}\)cm = 7.5cm, H = 6\(\frac{1}{2}\)cm = 6.5cm
Volume of cuboid = LBH = 8 x 7.5 x 6.5 = 390cm\(^3\) but in m\(^3\) = \(\frac{390}{1000000}\) = 0.00039m\(^3\)
0.00039m\(^3\) = 3.9 x 10\(^{-4}\)m\(^3\)
