Using sine rule
SINA/a= SINC/c
Arrange the triangle
X
/\
9 / \
/ 11 \
SINA/a = SINC/c
SINA/11 = SIN 35°/9
Cross multiply
11×SIN35 = 9×SINA
Divide both sides by 9
11×0.5736/9= SINA
SINA= 0.7011
A= SIN`¹ 0.7011
A= 44.5°
A= 45° (To the nearest degree)
The ans is (b)

First of all look for side xy. Then use sine rule.

The correct answer is E. Solve it using cosine rule and sine rule

using cosine rule to get side XY, then using sine rule to get angle yxz that's 89.17.

I think there was a mistake in the calculation of....
ZX². Meanwhile, ZX was 9cm, so if it was squared, it was supposed to be 9²=81....not 9²=92.
Thank you

The formula is A/sina=B/sinb
