Determine the third term of a geometrical progression whose first and second term are 2 and 54 respectively

The selected answer is wrong:

the 2nd term of the G.P on the question is 14 but on the explanation is 54. when i saw the 2nd term to be 54 on the explanation i tried using it as my 2nd term i got the answer correct.

THE answer should be 1457.
MY SCHOOL, YOU DIDN'T MINUS 1 FROM YOUR ANSWER, ACCORDING THE FORMULA THAT IS.
