The correct answer is A(y = (x - 3)3) and not C(y = x3 - 27).
First, note that for both equations, the given points (3,0) and (0, -27) are present on both of them. Thus, these points alone cannot be used to differentiate between these equations and determine the correct answer. Using a graphing calculator, I plotted both equations. It turns out that A(y = (x-3)3) (plotted red) fits the shape of the curve as given in the question and not C(y = x3 - 27) (plotted blue).
