I have an issue here, a really big one i chose 70 cause it was the closest number to my calculations(which was 68), I was not happy at all and I've noticed consistently that every time I take the practice test (35min) the first mathematics question always has an issue, pls don't frustrate me yall. making me doubt my mathematical talent

The answer to this question is not in the options, it is not 70. Use the theorem of "exterior angles". 56 + x will give an exterior angle that would be, lets say "m"--- equ.1. But m = 90 + an unknown angle "y". Therefore, m = 90 + y. Extending line PQ to the left to a point A, we see that angle SRQ is equivalent to angle TPA which is x. Now extending line TQ and SQ downwards we see that angle TQP is y, and since it's an isoceles triangle PTQ will also be y. Again, applying the exterior angle theorem, we see that angle TQP + PTQ, which is y+y will be equal to the exterior angle TPA which is x. Therefore, 2y = x---equ. 2. Inputing 2y for x in angle SRQ would be, 56 + 2y and inputing in equ. 1 would be, 56 +2y = m. Remember m = 90 + y, therefore, 56+2y = 90 + y, therefore, solving for y, y = 34. Put y = 34 in equ. 2, therefore, x = 34 x 2 = 68, which is the answer.
