The correct answer is (M,D) is (5,5) because the frequency of 5 is three and not two.There the correct median for 5,9,3,5,7,5.8 is 5 and not 6

The total number given in the question is 8 which consist of 5,5,3,5,7,5,8 and 9... Notice that there are four 5's in the question.. whereas three 5's in the solution
