look at my explanation

The mass of a body is directly proportional to the volume

ratio of the volume of the shell to the sphere

=3^3-2^3/4^3 =19/64

let the mass of the shell, then

m/64=19/64

m=64*19/64=19kg

i.e the mass of the shell is 19kg
