Here is an explanation:
5(4m-3n)=2(4m+3n)
20m-15n=8m+6n
20m-8m=15n+6n
12m=21n
4m=7n

4m+3n/4m-3n=5/2(cross multiply)---8m+6n=20m-15n(collect lyk terms)---6n+15n=20m-8m---21n=12m...since we ar 2find ratio of m:n---12m/21n=4/7...ans is "D"

Please, the question is 'ratio of m : n not otherwise. That leaves us with the answer... 4:7. Solve it anyhow but m first b4 n.
