now....difference BTW highest and lowest=18

then.....5x/12-3x/12=18

...........2x/12=18

.........cross multiply...2x=216

divide both sides by 2....x=108

now...substitute value of x into their ages

...........5(108)/12=45

............4(108)/12=36

...........3(108)/12=27

.....now....45+36+27=108
