3x-2y=5
x-y=2

4x-3y=7..........(1)
3x-2y=5...........(2)
3*(1):12x-9y=21.........(3)
4*(2):12x-8y=20........(4)
(3)-(4) gives -y=1 :y=-1

using (2):3x-2(-1)=5
3x+2=5 =>3x=5-2=3

:x=3/3=1
Hence, x-y=1-(1)=1+1=2 (c)
