Wrong.. Using sine rule this will be equal to 6.

sin90/12 = sin30/y (sine rule) y=12sin30/sin90 y=12*0.5/1 y=6cm

This question seems to be controversial.
1. It is stated in the question that PQ is 10cm.
2. In the diagram, PQ is 12cm
3. If we use Pythagoras and make PQ 12cm or 10cm, we get 10.91cm and 8.66cm respectively which is not part of the options.
if we use SOHCAHTOA, we get 6 or 5 cm if we consider PQ hypotenuse and 2.89 if we consider PR.
